Answer 1 :
Find the bus schedule
Answer 2 :
Millions and millions of people rely on public transportation each and every day to get to WORK. I suggest you discover the joys of train, subway, local car pools and bus travel. Think of the nice people you'll meet on your way to WORK every day. You don't really NEED a driver's license to work although it is nice to have your own "freedom machine". Good luck.
Answer 3 :
Simple answer. You resolve it by paying what you owe. Call them on a thing recently invented called the telephone.

Answer 1 :
Try Amtrak
Answer 2 :
Amtrak is the only option, other than bus. Flying in this case would be cheaper as train travel in the U.S tends to be expensive.
Answer 3 :
Amtrak is the only one I believe. This link will take you directly to the schedule page. I believe it is an 8 hour trip and goes thru LA and costs $36. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Amtrak/Page/Schedules_Index_Page&c=Page&cid=1080072922206&ssid=3 If you keep an eye on the soutwest specials you can get a really cheap ticket. We flew from Tucson Arizona to San Diego for $25 plus taxes. Right now they have one way specials for $49.

What time it takes to travel from Sanjose to Fresno ? Also from Sanjose to Fullerton?

San Jose - 2 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
It takes about 2 hours and 48 minutes to get from San Jose to Fresno. Then it takes about 3 hours and 53 minutes to get from Fresno to Fullerton.
Answer 2 :
San Jose to Fresno Depends on where in SJ you start and where in Fresno you are going. South on Hwy 101 to Hwy 152 East to Hwy 99 South to Fresno. It is a little over 150 miles and should take about 2 ½ hours. Give yourself another 45 minutes if you are leaving SJ during commute hours. Fresno to Fullerton South on 99 will merge with Hwy 5 South continue to CA91 East to Fullerton. This 245 miles should take about 3 ½ to 4 hours. Of course if you hit traffic in the LA basin all bets are off.

About travel from 29 Palms to Fresno

Travel from 29 Palms to Fresno?
Does anyone know a cheap way to get to Fresno, CA from Twentynine Palms, CA? My brother in law is at the marine base and will have Memorial weekend off. His wife and the rest of our family all live in Fresno and would like him to come visit us for the holiday as he hasn't seen any sights in CA outside of the desert where he's training. The problem is, we've been driving up and down every weekend and would like to know if there is a better solution. Bus, train, etc. All thoughts are appreciated. Thank you!

Answer 1 :
29 is kinda bumblebutt nowhere, but I'm sure you know that already. According to the 29Palm chamber of commerce there are very limited options. Here's the link: http://www.29chamber.com/Transportation.46.0.html Maybe he could bum a ride into Palm Springs and take Greyhound from there? Or Amtrak? http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak It doesn't look too cheap and it's definitely not fast. Getting to Palm Springs will be the first hurdle. I think there is the Morongo Basin Transit Authority. From Palm Springs it'll be either the bus or the train. Good luck! I hope your Marine gets to see a bit more of California than 29 Palms and Joshua Tree!! Drive him back to base via Vegas!! (Maybe save that for another time. LOL)

How much money would I spend on gas to travel from san tan valley, az to fresno, ca?

Other - United States - 1 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
That's about 630 miles, so if your car gets 30 mpg, that's 21 gallons or about $65-$70 at current prices (each way). If your car gets 20mpg, it would be more like $100 each way. That's a very long way to drive in one day, so you might need to also factor in the cost for a motel or campsite.

Hitch hike.
Answer 2 :
walk. hitch hike - but could be dangerous, and in some places illegal bus - not free.
Answer 3 :
If you don't have a car and can't drive, other then hitchhike, you can take the Greyhound. I checked it out and it would cost you $74 for a roundtrip ticket. You can get more info at the Greyhound website. http://www.greyhound.com/scripts/en/TicketCenter/step1.asp
Answer 4 :
amtrak can do this job train to stockon then a bus to San Jose and its cheaper then greyhound (which which I no longer trust with my life anyway) belopw is just one schedule I found for (there are a few others as well at $40.00 Book with train 713 San Joaquin Fresno, CA (FNO) 12:20 pm 10-JAN-08 Stockton, CA (SKN) 2:29 pm 10-JAN-08 2h 9m Checked baggage, Snack car, Onboard wheelchair ramp 1 Reserved Coach Seat 3913 Bus Stockton, CA (SKN) 2:35 pm 10-JAN-08 San Jose, CA (SJC) 4:25 pm 10-JAN-08 1h 50m Checked baggage 1 Reserved Thruway Seat another way would to use local transit (might take a day or 2)
Answer 5 :
go on craigslist.com and post a ride share under community... ummm some people will give rides for free others want you to chip in for gas but it is by far the cheapest way to go... safest? nah but its better than hitch hiking... post a week or so ahead of time
Answer 6 :
Have you ever looked at Superbus?
Answer 7 :
couple of options open for you. Take a bus like greyhound. Take train like Amtrack. Rent a car and drive it yourself. Carpool with someone.. check craigslist

Answer 1 :
how big of a dog? if it's small enough to fit in a carrier that fits under the seat of the seat you can carry it on a plane for free. if it's a bigger dog, the the only way is via plane and paying passage.
Answer 2 :
Well, I don't think you have much of a choice. Like someone said before me, small dogs in carriers that fit under your seat are free of charge.
Answer 3 :
You'll have to get a ride with a friend or family member. Its actually not too far. Can you rent a car or are you too young? Most places require that you be 25 I think.
Answer 4 :
Try Craigslist Rideshare. Or send the dog separately by Uship.com, there's an Animals category

Answer 1 :
don't go to a travel agency... just book them youself. there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
Answer 2 :
if you wanted to you could become a home based travel agent and earn a commission off of booked travel... if it were for you or someone you know.. check out Global Travel International http://www.globaltravel.com for more information..

About what is the best way to travel from Las Vegas to Fresno California

What is the best way to travel from Las Vegas to Fresno California?
We are vacationing in the Fresno area in October and are flying into Vegas. Does anybody have any thoughts on the best way to travel between the two? All ideas are appreciated
Las Vegas - 7 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
vacation in Fresno? are you on a budget or something? just go by car. but its a hot boring drive
Answer 2 :
Interstate 15 south to Highway 58 transition in Barstow. Highway 58 to Highway 99 North. That's the general road route. If you're flying then it's LAS-FAT on several airlines.
Answer 3 :
best way to get cheap air tickets
Answer 4 :
the drive is about 6 hours. 15 south to 58 west in barstow then 99 north at bakersfield to fresno. not the most interesting drive but not bad if you have someone in the car with you. if time is not an issue the drive is a good choice. if you want to fly you might be able to score some good deals. freson is a regional airport so you probably won't find it on any of the big airlines. but regional carriers tend to be cheap when flying short distances.
Answer 5 :
Nobody "vacations" in Fresno! Are you flying into Vegas because you got a cheap flight? Just rent a car at the airport and drive--it's not really that far. Use a major car rental and just turn it in in fresno.
Answer 6 :
Allegiant Air (they have a web site) out of Fresno is an excellent airline, with very good prices to Vegas, non-stop. If you drive, it's interesting if you like the desert landscape. You also save money on a car rental in Vegas. I would not be in that city without a car, rental or my own. It's way too spread out, and it's extremely hot. Waiting for a bus or shuttle in the heat is horrible. If you are in Fresno, do visit the Underground Gardens. That is an amazing and fascinating place, unique in the world. It also has a web site. It's Fresno's redeeming feature, in my opinion.
Answer 7 :
Alligiant Air and United (United Express by Skywest), U.S. Airways (Express, and starting 09/02/07 mainline flights) all fly non-stop from Las Vegas to Fresno.
